Mission Statement
MorningJoy Ministries exists to provide a Spirit-led and empowered ministry to women that will bring them to faith in Christ and challenge them to grow in that faith by finding the reality of Christ as their Rock and Refuge in all the joys and storms of life.
Speaking Topics
Some of Laura’'s most requested conference series are:
"Faith for the Storm" - This 4-part teaching includes Laura's testimony story and the Biblically based faith lessons learned in the midst of her own storms. Every woman brings her own private pains with her to most women's events. This teaching will show each of them how to triumph in adversity and use it as a catalyst for spiritual growth.
"Presence..Purpose..Power" - Another 4-message series that challenges every woman to find and embrace God's specific purpose and destiny for her life by experiencing God's PRESENCE, discovering His PURPOSE, and then appropriating His POWER to get the job done. Through the stories of women in scripture who fulfilled their God-ordained purpose, conference attendees are challenged to step out into God's unique destiny for them as well.
"“Invasion of the Body Snatchers”" - This two or three part series explores the sinister and subtle influence of demonic strongholds over our lives, how to recognize them, and how to break free to become who you really are through the power of the Cross.
"“When God Comes DOWN" - This three part series presents a fresh look at true revival that will ignite your women with the heart cry for God to do it again in your church.
"“The Dunamis Effect - Fulfilling Your Secret Destiny in the Last Days”" - A dynamic four-part teaching for an in-depth weekend of challenge regarding our current culture, prophetic events, and our part during these days. This is a challenging and deep teaching that will help prepare the saints. Hint: You were created ‘for such a time as this'’!
Other dynamic teaching topics include, “"Parenting in Crisis”", "“Lettuce for the Christian Woman’'s Soul" ”(on the value of female friendships), "“Learning to Hear God”", and others.
Specific topical or exegetical messages may be available upon request, with minimum of six month’s advance notice.
Doctrinal Statement
We believe:
• That the Holy Bible is the inerrant, supernaturally inspired word of God.
• That God exists as three persons in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
• That Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, was fully human yet fully God, lived a sinless life, and was crucified as a sacrifice according to God's plan to pay
. the penalty for man's sins.
• That Jesus defeated death and was bodily resurrected.
• That man is born sinful and separated from God.
• That salvation comes to man only through faith in Jesus Christ and his substitutionary death on the cross.
• That the Holy Spirit indwells every person who has put their faith in Christ, and is present in their lives to teach, instruct in righteousness, impart
. spiritual gifts, and provide supernatural power to live the Christian life.
• That Jesus Christ will return to earth as King.
