Mission Statement

The mission of MorningJoy Ministries is to provide a Spirit-led and empowered ministry to women that will bring them to faith in Christ and challenge them to grow in that faith by finding the reality of Christ as their Rock and Refuge in the storms of life.

Speaking Topics

Laura has ministered throughout the US at women's events of all kinds. In a powerful yet practical and transparent way, she brings inspiration and encouragement with a solid Biblical foundation.

Some of her most requested topics are her conference series:

"Faith for the Storm" - This 4-part teaching includes Laura's testimony story and the life-lessons learned in the midst of her own storms. Every woman brings her own private pains with her to most women's events. This teaching will show each of them how to triumph in adversity and use it as a catalyst for spiritual growth.
"Presence..Purpose..Power" - Another 4-message series that challenges every woman to find and embrace God's specific purpose and destiny for her life by experiencing God's PRESENCE, discovering His PURPOSE, and then appropriating His POWER to get the job done. Through the testimonies of women in scripture who fulfilled their God-ordained purpose, conference attendees are challenged to step out into God's unique destiny for them as well.
"God OVER Us...God WITH Us...God IN Us" - This teaching is a weekend encounter with the God of the Bible, exploring the doctrinal concept of the Trinity and how this Triune nature of our God can impact our daily lives in practial and intimate ways.
"Learning to Hear God" -Laura's newest series, this 4-part teaching based upon Proverbs 3:5-6 has made a dramatic impact upon the women who have attended this study. Listening/hearing is the flip side of talking/communicating...both essential components of prayer! God promised that He will 'direct our paths.' How do we tune our 'receivers' to hear His voice, and how do we know it is Him?

Other dynamic teaching topics include:

"When God Comes DOWN" - A fresh look at true revival that will ignite your women with the heart cry for God to do it again in your church, in your day.
"Parenting in Crisis" - hope for moms who are struggling with unruly young ones or that one child who is breaking their hearts.
"Lettuce for the Christian Woman's Soul"- Have you ever heard of "Chicken Soup for the Soul?" - Did you know the Lord gave 'let-us' for the soul to us as well? This study from Hebrew's on the value and importance of women-to-women relationships/friendships takes the "..let us.." commands of Hebrews 10 to challenge your women to deeper levels of fellowship and sharing with one another.

Doctrinal Statement

We believe:

That the Holy Bible is the inerrant, supernaturally inspired word of God.
That God exists as three persons in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
That Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, was fully human yet fully God, lived a sinless life, and was crucified as a sacrifice according to God's plan to pay the penalty for man's sins..
That Jesus defeated death and was bodily resurrected.

That man is born sinful and separated from God.

That salvation comes to man only through faith in Jesus Christ and his substitutionary death on the cross.

That the Holy Spirit indwells every person who has put their faith in Christ, and is present in their lives to teach, instruct in righteousness, impart spiritual gifts, and provide supernatural power to live the Christian life.

That Jesus Christ will return to earth as King.

Board of Directors

MorningJoy Ministries is administrated by a nine-member board of directors, and is a non-profit 501-C3 corporation. Laura is accountable to this board of pastors and women's ministry lay leaders who meet with her, counsel her, and pray with her on all ministry issues. All gifts to MJM are tax deductible.
